On the morning of March 22nd, an appointment ceremony of “Hohai Scholar” was held in Experiment Center of Harbour and Waterway Engineering and Coastal Ocean Science. Professor Yakun Guo from University of Bradford, UK was appointed as “Hohai Scholar” visiting professor. Vice-President Hongwu Tang, Dean Jinhai Zheng, Assistant Dean Jisheng Zhang and some teachers and students participated. After the ceremony, Prof. Guo gave a seminar titled “Modeling study of internal solitary waves over a bottom ridge”.
